Greetings,
Thank you for joining the expanding ranks of the Gloucester County NAACP and its mission “to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons." We are recruiting members who are as varied as the population of the United States of America. While one size does not fit all; our NAACP mission fits all freedom loving people. For some new members, their relationship will focus simply on offering support for our common mission. For others, their relationship will mean active involvement in the daily work of the NAACP as a member of a standing committee. Still others, will agree to take leadership roles to actively fight for the enforcement of existing civil rights laws. The new leadership body will continue devising new strategies to redress racial disparities in education, employment, housing, health care, the criminal justice system, civic engagement, and voting. I am honored that you will not stand in front of us or behind us, but rather side- to-side with us in our quest for justice and liberty for all.
